Controllers are typed as site boundary, internal or off-site, so the system knows which scans start and end attendance and which are just movement.
Every scan logged
A permanent ledger of every access event: person, credential, zone, direction, granted or denied, and the deny reason. Denied scans surface live to security.
Instant permission propagation
Change a credential or a grant and the affected controllers get their updated lists immediately. No overnight sync.
Offline gates keep working
A controller that loses connectivity queues scans locally and replays them as a signed batch on reconnect, processed in order. Nothing is lost.
